2010 Northwest
ADDY® Awards Competition
34 GOLDS AND 139 SILVERS AWARDED AT THE NORTHWEST ADDY COMPETITION
BOISE, ID – Judging for the Northwest ADDY Awards was held in Boise,
Idaho, April 9-10.
The judges for the competition were Tony Sharpe, Senior Vice President,
Creative Director
at draftfcb Chicago, Mike Stark, Vice President, Executive Producer at
Team Detroit, and
Skip Tramontana, Creative Director at Lakespeed Inc. The judges evaluated
over 635
entries (554 professional, 81 student) in this year’s competition
for the Northwest ADDY
Awards.
- TM Advertising was awarded Best of Show Broadcast for their
Television spot “Silent
Killer”, for Group Health Cooperative
- Quisenberry Marketing and Design was awarded Best of Show Print
for their URM
2009 Annual Report for URM
- Best of Show New Media was awarded to Stoltz Marketing Group
for the “To Hell with
Prep” online campaign for Simplot Food Group
- Special Judge’s Choice awards were given to Creature for
their Jansport Bonnaroo
non-traditional advertising campaign, and Q102- KCHQ for their Silver
Horse Shoe
radio campaign
- Best of Show in the Student category went to Cheyenne Osmundsen
from Montana
State University for the XL Country Radio Station logo
The Northwest ADDY Awards is an annual creative competition sponsored
by District XI of
the America Advertising Federation (AAF); the advertising industry’s
largest trade
organization. District XI is comprised of local clubs in the states of
Washington, Oregon,
Idaho, Montana, Alaska and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia
and Alberta.
The Northwest ADDY Awards are the second tier of a three-tiered national
competition
sponsored by AAF. The winners at this competition have earned the right
to proceed onto
national judging which a national judging panel will hold in Washington
D.C.
